Open Call for the 16th TITIRIMADROÑO!

International Puppet Theater Festival
October 20-26, 2025 – Madrid

Great news!

We’re opening the call for applications to participate in TITIRIMADROÑO, the International Puppet Theater Festival organized by UNIMA MADRID, celebrating its 16th edition in 2025.

If you’re part of a company, agent, or professional in Puppet, Visual, and Object Theater (PVOT), you can send us your proposal from March 10 to April 11, 2025. Just fill out the following form:

Only PVOT proposals with availability for the dates and times specified in these guidelines will be considered. Please keep this in mind before submitting your application.

The festival will take place from October 20 to 26, 2025, in Madrid, and will be structured around three main pillars:

Artistic Program

• – PVOT Performances:
  • For adult and youth audiences:
    Wednesday, October 22, and Thursday, October 23 (afternoon).
  • For children and family audiences:
    Saturday, October 25 (afternoon) and Sunday, October 26 (morning).
  • Street performances for all audiences:
    Saturday, October 25 (morning).
• – Parallel Activities:
  • Interactive street installations:
    Saturday, October 25 (morning).
  • Exhibitions:
    From October 21 to 25 (setup on Monday, October 20, and takedown on Monday, October 27).

Training Program

• Workshops, talks, and presentations related to PVOT, aimed at professionals and the general public.
  October 20-24 (afternoon sessions).

Networking Program

• Accessibility:
  Priority will be given to proposals that include accessibility measures.

Important Information

• – Proposals from national and international companies are welcome.
• – The festival does not cover accommodation or transportation costs.
• – The organization will provide meals on the day of the performance.
• – The festival will cover the agreed fee for each selected project.
