Open Call for Companies

UNIMA Madrid launches the open call to participate in TITIRIMADROÑO – International Puppet Theatre Festival, celebrating its 17th edition in 2026.

👉 Open to companies, agents and professionals working in Puppet, Visual and Object Theatre (PVOT).

What are we looking for?

PVOT performances and projects to be presented within the festival’s three main programme strands:

–Artistic Program–

Indoor performances

• Adult and young audiences:
  Thursday 22 & Friday 23 October (evening)
• Children and family audiences:
  Saturday 24 October (afternoon) & Sunday 25 October (morning)

Outdoor performances — all audiences

• Saturday 24 October (morning)

Parallel activities

• Interactive street installations: Saturday 24 October (morning) & Sunday 25 October (morning)
• Walkabout performance: Sunday 25 October (morning)
• Exhibitions: October 20–24
  (setup October 19 / dismantling October 26)

–Training Program–

Workshops, talks and lectures related to PVOT aimed at professionals and general audiences.

– Meeting & Accessibility Program-

Projects incorporating accessibility and inclusive practices for diverse audiences will be prioritised.

Participation Conditions

• Open to national and international companies.
• The festival will cover the agreed performance fee for selected projects.
• Meals will be provided on the performance day.
• Accommodation and travel expenses are not covered by the festival.
